My process
-
1. Get to know each other
We start off with a conversation (phone, zoom, or email) to get to know each other, and to get a sense of your personal style, your vision, and ensure we’re a good fit for each other. I’ll share a bit about how I approach a shoot, creative imagery, and everything in-between.
-
2. Building a Plan
Building off what we agree to in that first conversation, I’ll send you a draft plan for how we’ll spend our time together. This will include things like location, duration, and a vision board of example photos. Setting clear expectations with each other ensures that I can help execute what your vision is for this project.
-
3. The Shoot
On the day of the shoot, I’ll ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. You’ll see a few unedited preview images to make sure everything looks correct. Following the session, I’ll send you an online gallery of beautifully edited photos for you to choose from. I can help you determine what options you have for printing and sharing your photos.
Are we a good fit?
We’re a good fit if …
You care about candid, natural moments more than stiff poses or trendy filters.
You’re excited to collaborate and experiment, whether we’re chasing golden hour light or exploring a new location.
You see photos as more than content — they’re memories, art, and legacy.
You’re into authentic settings (not a studio), rich colors, and intentional storytelling.
My commitments to you:
Your comfort comes first. I’ll guide you with care and clarity so you feel confident and at ease every step of the way.
Your happiness matters. Whether it’s a portrait session or a custom project, I’m committed to delivering work you’re proud to share.
Clear and consistent communication. You’ll always know what to expect before, during, and after our shoot.
Images that reflect and celebrate who you are. My photos seek to honor the full spectrum of identity — skin tone, age, disability, gender expression, relationships, religion, and everything else about you. You should feel seen, respected, and celebrated in every frame.
